Mark Williams is the Head of Business Banking Sales Transformation at Citizens Bank, leading the organization’s efforts to reimagine the client experience through a relationship- and digital centric approach. With over 20 years of leadership in financial services, he has a proven track record of driving business growth, developing innovative product solutions, and building high-performing teams. 

 Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Business Banking Treasury Solutions at Citizens, where he led a multi-disciplinary team across cash management, foreign exchange, commercial card, and merchant services. Under his leadership, the team delivered double-digit fee income growth and launched industry-recognized solutions like CashFlow Essentials, a bundled cash management offering designed to deepen client relationships. His expertise spans treasury management, product development, sales enablement, and business development, with a focus on blending human-centered advice with cutting-edge digital solutions.  

Known for fostering talent and transforming sales teams, Mark has a history of leading cultural shifts that drive both colleague engagement and bottom-line results. He is passionate about leveraging data and technology to simplify banking for small and medium-sized businesses, while empowering teams to deliver advice-driven solutions that help clients thrive.  

Outside of work, Mark lives just outside of Boston with his wife of 25 years, their five children, and three dogs. He is an avid researcher of history, as well as social, political, and economic theory.
