Lauren Kenney is a member of the risk management and compliance leadership team for U.S Bank Payment Services.  Lauren plays a key role in helping the business manage responsible growth and innovation on key payments initiatives including Real-time Payments, Buy Now Pay Later, Payment Facilitators and other embedded payment strategies.   

Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2017, Lauren spent 11 years at Bank of America leading teams in the Consumer Risk and Compliance Division covering areas such as Enterprise Stress Testing, Risk Analytics, Operational Risk, and Consumer AML.  During her time at Bank of America, Lauren was an active member for LEAD for Women, an employee network that promotes women’s professional development, serving as a volunteer, mentee and mentor. 

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in French and Spanish.  She received her M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Finance.  She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst®.   

Based in Charlotte, Lauren volunteers at both Rea Farms Elementary School and Primrose Preschool for school events, school fundraisers, and community service food drives at both schools that benefit Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte.  She also volunteers with Dress for Success in Charlotte.
