Jude Schramm

EVP & CIO
Fifth Third

Jude Schramm serves as chief information officer (CIO) for Fifth Third Bancorp. In this role, he is responsible for defining the strategic technical roadmap for the company, driving modernization and leading teams focused on enterprise information technology, line of business products and artificial intelligence.

Before joining the Bank in 2018, Jude served as CIO for GE Aviation, where he was responsible for leading IT strategy and digital transformation. In previous roles at GE, Jude led IT for the Aviation Services and Commercial divisions. He also worked on numerous cross-division programs as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Leader. Jude began his career at GE in 2001 as a developer, and, over 17 years there, held roles of increasing responsibility.

Jude also is an alumnus of Ernst & Young LLP, where he served as a senior consultant.

 

Education

Jude earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in information systems and business management from the University of Cincinnati.

 

Professional and Civic

Jude serves on the board of Found Village, an organization dedicated to creating the right conditions so youth can thrive. Found Village supports young people, age 12 and older, who are experiencing foster care and those working to move from generational poverty. Committed to their success until they thrive, with a goal of achieving this by age 25, Found Village envisions a future where every young person and their future generations are no longer system involved, thriving in their communities and have mobilized out of poverty.

 

Jude is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. He lives in West Chester Township, north of Cincinnati.
