With more than 20 years in financial services, Hank Word currently serves as President of the Open Banking Division at Evolve Bank & Trust. Evolve Open Banking is recognized as a global leader in the payments and BaaS industry delivering unique payment solutions and innovative technology to fintechs. Hank’s focus is to lead cross-functional initiatives within the division and chart the course for the future of the business. Hank joined Evolve in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Technology and System Strategies. He was named Evolve’s first SVP, Chief Technology Officer, in 2017 and soon after, led the technology and back-office operations of the bank. Hank is one of the original stakeholders in the development of the Open Banking division and its evolving team. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Paragon National Bank. Hank attended the University of Memphis.
