Kenneth Meyer

Ken Meyer is divisional chief information officer and experience officer for consumer technology, experience, and innovation at Truist Financial Corporation. A purpose-driven leader inspired to create experiences that revolutionize how people interact with their finances, Meyer is charged with dramatically changing how clients experience products, services and teammate interactions through transformational technologies and a culture of innovation.

In this role, Meyer is responsible for all client-facing channels (ATM, branch, contact center, and digital), financial products (deposits, consumer lending, debit card, credit card, and mortgage) origination and servicing, marketing technology and client onboarding, client experience and design, enterprise client relationship management, intelligent automation, internal API development and open banking, product management for enterprise services, emerging channels, and innovation.

Meyer has served in a number of leadership roles leading transformational teams and projects. He served as consumer chief technology officer at a Truist predecessor where he was responsible for the technology strategy, delivery, and support of SunTrust Mortgage, Retail Banking, and Private Wealth Management. Meyer also had responsibility for marketing technology and enterprise-wide digital assets. Prior to that, he served as enterprise solutions Chief technology officer for the bank, overseeing enterprise architecture, shared services delivery, governance and execution methodology, investment planning, strategy, and the financial oversight of SunTrust’s Enterprise Information Services (EIS) organization. He also held multiple positions in the Wholesale segment, most recently as Head of Wholesale Lending Operations, where he was responsible for supporting Small Business Banking, Commercial and Business Banking, Private Wealth Management, Equipment Finance, and Commercial Real Estate, Letters of Credit and Trade Services, Syndicated Loan Servicing, and the Lending Operations Back Office. Prior to that position, Meyer led the Wholesale Administration team, overseeing Wholesale Operations strategy and execution, mobilization of outsourcing initiatives and operational excellence. He worked closely with the Wholesale leadership team on strategic initiatives inclusive of process and technology enablement, location consolidation and targeted outsourcing.

Meyer joined in December 2013 from Accenture where he worked with leading financial institutions, including SunTrust, Santander, Farmers Insurance, Toyota Financial Services, Wachovia/Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley. His industry experience has centered on retail and commercial banking clients, leading large transformation and business process design programs, and large system implementations.

With a passion for serving his community and helping others advance in the tech field, Meyer serves on several nonprofit and community service boards including Partnership for Inclusive Innovation, Technology Association of Georgia and FinTech Atlanta. He also spends time volunteering for TechBridge Atlanta and the United Way.

Meyer earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia.
