Hari Gopalkrishnan is the Client Facing Platforms Technology executive for Bank of America leading development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. He also manages the bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives.
Hari is responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Consumer, Small Business & Wealth Management Technology (CSWT). This includes our GWIM, Edge and Retirement Online Technology, Contact Center and Voice Technology, Mobile Technology, Conversational Commerce Technology, Digital Sales and Servicing Technology, Enterprise Payments & Merchants Technology, Client Protection and Authentication Technology, Financial Center and ATM Technology, and Technology Partnership Development.
Prior to joining the bank, Hari led Citigroup’s Global Markets operations, reference data and Institutional Client Group (ICG) architecture across all Global Markets products. In addition, he was responsible for Global Banking and Investment Research Technology across ICG as well as running Enterprise Architecture and Development Engineering and Shared Services for the firm.
Previously, Hari served as chief technology architect for Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for enterprise services. He has also held technology leadership positions at Bankers Trust and Eli Lilly.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Hari is the GT&O Market Advocate for Tampa. He is a passionate advocate and champion for diversity and inclusion at Bank of America and currently serves as co-Executive Sponsor for the enterprise ALN employee network and chairs the CSWT diversity forum. Hari also serves as an informal mentor and coach for multiple local employee networks, including the Hopewell Women in Technology & Operations (WIT&O) group.
