In Ben’s role leading US digital partnerships, he focuses on identifying and executing on partnership opportunities with fintechs, big techs, incubators, accelerators, industry consortia, and venture capital firms. Ben works with business leaders to determine when partnership strategies can best deliver upon business goals, identifies areas of imminent disruption, and assesses fintech acquisition and investment opportunities. He has a focus on open banking and the opportunities it creates for banks, fintechs, and consumers.
His prior background is in management consulting and bank technology, with deep experience in strategy and large program implementation including post-merger integrations.
Ben is a frequent speaker at industry events, helping others to evaluate trends and opportunities at the intersection of banking and fintech. He has recently spoken at Finovate Fall, LendIt Fintech, the US Fintech Symposium, and Bank Innovation Build among others. He is a guest lecturer on fintech at multiple universities, as well as a frequent podcast guest.
Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He and his family reside in Chicago.
